Furniture re-dos Makeovers Shabby Paints

Inspired by Levi’s

Today’s post is a quick one, but I am really quite proud of this and needed to show it off.

My favorite client handed me a table with this statement- “it’s for my grandson, do you think it needs a shelf? Have fun.”

It sat in my workshop for a while until one day I looked at it in the right light, at the right angle and saw it… doesn’t that side piece look like something…. do you see it too?

I hope Levi’s jeans isn’t offended, though I think her grandson’s going to love it… how about you?

(for those who want to know, I used Shabby Paints Baby Boo for a base coat, Marine Blue for the top coat and distressed to the under coat. Then I used an artist brush to make the stitches with Cali Taupe and put VAX over the whole thing. The top, feet, and shelf were stained with a combination of sheer, hazelnut and black reVAX.)

Lo-oooove how you funk-ified this table. I think Levi Jeans will be flattered.
