Saturday was of course wonderful too. The films were again at the Old Town Theatre. The closed off the street for the photo ops. There were people everywhere!
Waiting to get inside. The weather was gorgeous!
Director Peter Berg was there with former Navy Seal, Marcus Luttrell, the author of Lone Survivor, then adapted for the recent film.
Some of the incredible film makers with Matt Battaglia.
Some Jr ROTC embers with Adam Driver. Are you aware he runs a non-profit to help vets as well?
I got to see old friends too- Lindsay and I met a few years ago at the festival. He brought another film this year so I got to see him again!
Ok, my favorite new friend- Ned Vaughn. An incredible actor and seriously just very kind man. I met him on the observation tower at the Masonic temple and he was kind enough to talk to me both Friday and Saturday evenings. This picture is horrid. We have both decided the iPhone was not at all made for the pale-skinned, redhead set. I would prefer a different photo (as I am sure so would he), but this is all I’ve got so here it is.
That’s my festival experience this year. I forgot to show you my favorite security friend, Brian. He comes nearly every year and it is always such an incredible treat to see him! Here we are on Friday:
I got to spend quite a bit of time with him on Saturday evening and it was a wonderful reminder why he’s so fantastic.
Hope you enjoyed my dragging you along on my experiences outside of paint and saw dust- Don’t worry, there is more of the tomorrow…
XO! ~Scottie
