We haven’t started filming yet so I thought I would bore you a bit with the semantics of pitching a show, and then tease you a bit with a clip. If you follow me on Facebook (and if you don’t, why not?) You may remember about this time last year I posted a photo of a sofa we made out of pallets. (hint: It’s the cover photo on the page.)It received an incredible amount of attention for which I am so grateful and I am so in love with it, it is on my front porch today.
“Wait! Did you say you filmed that a YEAR ago?! Why are we just hearing about and seeing this now?!”
Right, I know, huh? It’s not the quickest process. After editing, they have to make appointments with the executives who make the decisions and then show them the clips, and then a LOT of waiting…. then some maybes… and excitement… and then some conferences where lots of shows are pitched.. and then… well, more waiting.
So here we are one year later. The clip has been shown to all the people who need to/get to see it first and now I get to show it to you! I am so excited about it and I hope you love it too! So without further ado… here is what Saved by Scottie might look like:
and you know I am dying, so PLEASE tell me what you think then (more begging…) Share with your friends, family, total strangers, and ask them to share too- I will give you a gigantic hug next time I see you (or buy you coffee if you’re not the hugging type..).
